Tears

“And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, “Now the dwelling of God is with men and he will live with them. They will be His people, and God himself will live with them and be their God. He will wipe away every tear from their eyes, there will be no more death or morning or crying of pain for the old order of things has passed away.”

Revelation 21:3-4 

Sometimes I wonder about the tears

I have been crying through the years

When do they end and where do they start

And why does it hurt my soul and heart

Tears of sorrow and tears of pain

Have been falling like drops of rain

Tears when I lost my brother

Tears when I lost my father and mother

Tears because I missed my land

Tears because I missed my friend

But I really wonder about my tears

Because something changed in passing years

I still cry tears of sorrow and pain

But something about my tears DID change

You see, I still cry my tears but….I give my pain away

To Him who heals me more with every passing day

AND I added different tears I guess

Those are the tears of thankfulness

I know now my tears began with birth

And will stop when I will leave this earth

But my tears changed, when He changed my heart

Thank you Jesus for my brand-new start!!
